eMentum COVID-19 Policy

 eMentum seeks to protect all drivers and passengers in eMentum vehicles to the fullest extent possible. All eMentum drivers must read, acknowledge and abide by the eMentum Covid-19 policy. Failure to do so could result in termination of your eMentum driver agreement and loss of access to the vehicle.

If at any time you:

  • Become sick
  • Have a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, or other COVID-19 symptoms
  • Are tested for Covid-19 and are awaiting results
  • Are asked by Health Authorities to Quarantine or self Isolate.

You must not drive an eMentum vehicle

If you have not sought medical advice you must seek out medical advice and be tested for COVID-19 as directed by your doctor or Health Authorities; 


You must immediately report this to eMentum. eMentum will cancel and refund outstanding bookings until such time as evidence of a negative Covid-19 test can be provided. 

eMentum will ensure that:

  • All vehicles supplied to Lead Drivers at the start of a Lead Driver rental will be cleaned and sanitized.

  • All vehicles returned to eMentum will be cleaned and sanitised.
  • eMentum Lead Drivers will be issued with

    • Disinfectant Wipes
    • Hand Sanitiser
    • Disposable Mask

  • If an eMentum Driver reports a positive COVID-19 test or reports COVID-19 symptoms, the vehicle that the driver has used will be fully cleaned and sanitised.

You must not drive an eMentum vehicle

  • Follow the COVID-19 policies and directions of Health Authorities, Rideshare operators and delivery operators, any other service that you engage with.   • Bring a container for the disposal of disinfectant wipes and other rubbish
  • When you arrive at your eMentum vehicle at the start of a Booking  and your vehicle is not clean and tidy, immediately report this to eMentum
  • Thoroughly clean your eMentum vehicle as directed using disinfectant at the beginning of every Booking or at the start of every day.
  • Keep the Sneezeguard in place at all times.
  • Direct passenger to use the rear seats of the vehicle
  • If you do use the air conditioning system make sure it is set to ‘fresh-air’ and not to recirculate. 
  • Limit the use of the air conditioning system and keep the windows open where possible
  • Wear a disposable mask or other face covering at all times when operating the vehicle
  • Sanitize and wash your hands regularly
  • Offer Hand Sanitiser to your Passengers
  • Clean the vehicle between passengers where possible
  • If you suspect a passenger has been unwell or has coughed or sneezed in the vehicle, you must clean the vehicles before picking up another passenger
  • Report to eMentum is supplies of Wipes, Masks or sanitizer run low
  • Thoroughly clean the eMentum vehicle as directed using disinfectant wipes at the end of every day or every Booking.
